Fast forward to 2002 when the haze had parted & Lowered Recordings was exhumed. Primarily a "DJ's Record Label" picking up great music that was usually destroying a dancefloor somewhere near you.

Lowereds MD is Jules Spinner who has over 20 years in the business fulfilling roles in A&R, Marketing, Business Affairs & Legal, Product Management, Music Production and more gathered from companies such as Ministry Of Sound UK, Sony BMG, Lowered an others. Following a slew of cool underground tracks it wasn't long before Lowereds artists started crossing from the dancefloor to the charts.

The first hit was "Husan" by The Bhangra Knights. Originally a bootleg but moving forward to reach the UK Top Ten. A release followed in Europe and then worldwide.

Since then Lowered have continually crossed the cool over to the mainstream, signing acts such as C-Mos, Cloud 9, Grooveland, John Fitz (Herd & Fitz / Bodyrockers), Silosonic, Denis The Menace, Jerry Ropero, Francesco Diaz, Ill Beat Hustlers, Jean Claude Ades, Jonathan Ulysses, Lil Devious, Percy Filth and Paul de Homem-Christo (brother of Guy from Daft Punk), Jason Herd, Grant Richards, Dave Armstrong, Ran Shani, Electro F, DJ Kuffar, David Amo & Julio Navas to the label and so the list grows....
